Please note, Starting from August 1, 2025, the pulley components on the Magnet kite have been upgraded to micro friction ring, which is more light and can effectively avoid tangles. Especially for small-sized Magnets, they finally get rid of the bulky pulleys.

THE newly developed foil-kite series by PANSH is named MAGNET. Here is The kite that will never leave you !  Unlike many singlekin or hybrid concepts that were inspired by paragliders, Pansh proves here that kites must be thought differently.

The MAGNET is a kite that has a simple bridle like a tube kite and is light as a feather, which inflates on its own like a foil kite.

“But why didn’t anyone do it before Pansh?” probably because behind this apparent simplicity lie some secrets that make this concept possible.

Lightness:
Less than 1kg for a 8m! No more airport taxes, this MAGNET Kite fits in your backpack, and you can replace a single tube kite with 3 kites for the same weight, with minimal bulk. You can easily guess that the MAGNET Kite fits in the air in a stream of air. This characteristic boosts your practice in the lightest winds, the kite no longer falls because you pass the lulls with serenity, in addition, this makes it an ideal ally for learning or introducing your friends, your students in your kiteschool. This light weight will also be perfect for children who want to discover kiting, because the wind conditions in which they learn often complicate the choice of equipment, but in this case the MAGNET Kite is clearly the solution.

Sturdy and durable:
The internal structure of the cells on MAGNET kite is made of PANSH specially designed fabric with a tearing force of up to 85 (N). The rest of the kite is made of standard Nylon 66 fabric who has features as static electricity eliminating, UV resistance, as well as an airtight coating and hydrophobic properties (same as the Pansh Kestrel standard version kite fabric). Also, the lightness and reduced air volume of MAGNET limit the impact of falling on the kite itself, which is not as fragile as a tube kite or a foil kites, It is not easily damaged. Both the polyamide rod and fiber battens at the wing tips are detachable, It is easy to maintain.

Magnet 18m EL  is an extremely lightweight version, are all made of lighter materials (30g/sqm), Only the Internal span-wise straps are made of special fabric with a tear resistance strength of over 85N, which ensures that the kite is sturdy enough while significantly reducing weight and improving flight performance in light wind.

(The batten entrance strip has been sealed, which can completely prevent the loss of the batten.)

Closed structure:
The kite has 3 air inlets which will ensure inflation of the leading edge and the soft structure. A Velcro valve in the center completes this waterproof architecture, and thus allows it to stay in shape during a sudden wind drop, or when the kite falls. This way, it will be able to catch the wind easier to relaunch. Small drains are present at the ends to allow water to flow out if necessary. Nets are present at the air inlets to maintain an optimum profile. Numerous internal "front miniribs" keeps an aerodynamic shape, without completely avoiding small, but very specific deformations, which can help with kite drift and depower.

Control Systems:
Magnet can work with most common control bars. You can use both high Y frontline split, or no split for frontline. Standard control bars works with both of the two situations. The higher the Y is, the faster will be the kite with more power in loops, but provide less low end. Magnet has been designed to work with a splitted front lines control bar (splitted at 9/15m from the kite, depends on the size). It can work very well without a frontline splitter for children, but it will be less predictive and more prone to lose its shape in gusty winds.

There is bungee on the extrados. And to achieve stability of the kite, the bungee has been pre-tensioned by10%.
